Oh I Do Like To Live Beside The Sea-Side!!!

Had another wonderful weekend in the Devon and in the sun!!!! It really is amazing living by the sea...the sounds, and smells and textures...

When the sun is shining, why would you want to be anywhere else????

Watching the sea-gulls knick peoples ice-creams and sandwhices can keep you amused for hours, they also have an annoying tendancy to splatter everything.....although (touch wood) I havn't been hit yet!!! He seemed to like his chocolate milkshake!!!!

Theres always a deckchair or two to while away the hours in..

I live in a sedate Regency town, no piers or arcades or amusements blaring away....just the wonderful peaceful waves lapping at the shore to hypnotise your cares away.....

The views are amazing...........

There is always something to do...walks over the cliffs, sailing, swimming, surfing when the the sea is rough...wakebboarding,kite flying, kite surfing, handgliding, fishing, scuba diving, snorkleing and although I don't profess to participating in all these sports ..its interesting to watch those who do!!!!

Since moving to the sea side we spend much more time outdoors.....its just as beautiful to walk along the prom in winter as it is in the summer......

I have no doubt we will move again one day....but we wil never move away from the coast x x x x

  1. Lovely seeing the photos of Sidmouth!!

My Husband was born in Sidford!

Have spent hundreds of hours on the beach at Jacobs Ladder with the children when they were young:) Aaah, sand castles and sand filled sandwiches:)

Put August 8th in your Diary. There is a flea Market at Pavilions Exmouth on that day. Have you been to one yet?

They are always looking for sellers, its sometimes good, sometimes not:( My Mum and Sis do it. I tried, but not good for what I got to sell. Its only on once a month.

My Mum knits and is clearing her loft and my Sis sells fashion jewellery!

£10 a table so not bad.
    love
