1940's Brooch Workshop by Hesta

Hello I went along to another wonderful workshop run by Hesta of Bodkin, at Maise Daisy, Mill Street Crafts ,Sidmouth. When I was doing the crochet workshop this lovely brooch caught my eye

It was not long before the brooch took shape.....
It was a lovely meeting ladies who were interested in crafting and the shop is such a wonderful creative space...very inspiring....

Here are the finished brooches that were made that day.....

She loves violets and there are white violets growing wild by me , so I used both white and violet threads to create this bouquet. I would highly recommend these workshops run by Hesta, we have lovely homemade cake on vintage china and she is so friendly and helpful. You can contact her here if you fancy having a go at making your very own brooch http://green-glamour.blogspot.co.uk/
