I fancy learning granny squares to make a thrown for the beach and flowers, and snowflakes...
Didn't realise how uber trendy I was till I saw this picture from Paul Smiths collection

Mmmm a bit far out for me!!! Who knew granny squares could be so trendy and probably so very, very, very expensive!!
Not a look I'd go for! Prefer my 'grannies' in the form of a cushion or blanket.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy learning to crochet.Took me ages to get the hang of it..but now I'm hooked!
So I was a knitter first, right? I figured, quite naively actually, that I would instantly "get it". It took me weeks! But I persevered and finally did get it. And when I did, I felt overwhelming pride. So keep trying and then you won't be able to stop!
ReplyDeleteI have a huge amount of faith in you ;)

ReplyDeleteI am rubbish at learning from books and managed to learn squares quite easily by watching video clip tutorials at 'Meet Me at Mikes' blog where there is a helpful Granny Squares 101, here's the link.
