Handmade is best.............

Hand made things really are the best and I am so lucky to be surrounded by talented friends and family, my daughter Madison made this pom-pom garland.......
She also made this amazing bird bunting......
 from an old vintage book.........

I  am sooo jealous...IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII want it!

She also made this vintage  handkerchief bunting........

and re-covered this vintage children's ironing board.

And made these play tea bags for the girls to use x x x

My friend Sarah-Jane is a wizz with felt and made these lovely pixies.........
 or are they girl elfs?
Sarah-Jane also made these wonderful felt decorations for my tree......
They are stunning and the workmanship is amazing.......
 They are all wonderful....
But this ice skate is my favourite...it's bloody gorgeous!
You can commission pieces from her face book page Sierra Juliet's or buy some of her ready made items

I have been cracking on completing the 1940's tablecloth that Father Christmas (mother) bought me....
 I find it very relaxing.....
Just wish I knew who had started it......
I had one a couple of years ago in red but sold it and I have regretted it ever since so was really chuffed when I unwrapped it on Christmas day...brought a tear to my eye it did, and I managed to match up the turquoise perfectly, once I have completed I will NEVER part with it x

As I type this I am watching Madison make some more bunting from The Diary of an Edwardian Country Lady........

It's so lovely I may just have to have a go myself......what are you ladies making?
