More presents!

Aren't people kind......I have had lots of presents over the week.....
My neighbour came over with a beautiful bunch of flowers..........

This butterfly was amongst the flowers......
Mother was down to help me out......she found these two miniature cake stands in the charity shop
They were a wonderful surprise and really cheered me up!!!!
Mother also bought me back this beautiful bottle of rose syrup!!! so far I have tipped it over some ice-cream ....delish!!!

Another present off of my friend...some photo frame fridge magnets...
A china handled bottle opener from my grandsons.....

Mother also got me 12 golden baubles for my bling Christmas tree, I have two each year......
My living room tree is red and gold and I have over 300 baubles and counting......it takes me one and a half hours just to hang the baubles. I liked these little bags, there were five of them ...good for chocolates, sweets or little presents to hang in the tree.
all these golden goodies were a pound in the charity shop.......
This little beaded Christmas wreath was purchased from the Mooncake Festival by mother on her recent trip to Borneo.
And last but not least...a belated birthday pressie from my son and partner..this wonderful tea pot.......
Shall I be mother??????

Many thanks to all those who have sent me lovely messages.............
I still have two painful hands, only now I have one I can't use at all! But things have to get worse before they get better!!! My backslap is taken off at the end of this week(thank heaven as it is soo itchy!)....then I have to have a splint....stitches out in two weeks........
And with physio I should have a normal hand in six weeks.....then it's on to my right hand which is always a bit more difficult as I am right handed and really will be useless for a couple of weeks!!! As it is I feel as much use as a chocolate teapot! Hubster has to cut up my dinners, butter my toast and tie my shoelaces!!!AND I get told off like a naughty school girl if I go to do anything!!! Oh well I have kept you all long enough....it's certainly taken me a lot longer to type one handed...see you all soon!!!

My daughter came down for a visit this weekend which meant I got some more wonderful birthday presents.....

Father Christmas will hopefully bring me a cup or two to match!!! My pride and joy!!!! Who couldn't love a bit of Pip!!!!!

More presents!!!!

Had quite a few pressies over the last couple of weeks......this beautiful embroidered 6ft tablecloth off of my son and partner........
I threw it straight on my table and photographed it, after an iron the wrinkles disappeared.
They also bought me a beautiful bunch of flowers which i put in an old wash jug which they bought me as a present last year.
This jug is HUGE, but filled with flowers is amazing. Many people may be put off by the size of these jugs but if you ever have the chance to purchase one I urge you to go ahead and do it!!!
I have many different size of jugs and vases but my flowers have never been displayed as wonderfully as in this jug. The huge washbowls are useful too........imagine one filled with ice and bottles placed in it, an ideal party bowl!!!!!

The Better Half came home with this rosy cake plate that is just too pretty to sell,

Another present!!

My daughter and her partner gave me a wonderful present when they arrived for a visit!!
An old Singer treadle sewing machine!!

Its soooo wonderful!!! I can't help thinking of all the amazing things that have been made on it x The wooden top needs a jolly good sanding down and then a re-varnish.......but..........if I have to sand it down anyway.......a quick coat of white egg shell and some porcelain rose handles wouldn't be much more work!!!!! This isn't my exact machine.......but its close enough....,..
As my daughter Poppy is doing a textile course over the next two years, this baby threaded up and ready to go at all times , will come in very handy. And I can imagine the bunting and hearts and quilts that I will sew on her x x x After a quick service I am sure she will be around for another hundred years.....long after the modern ones are residing in a hole in the ground!!!! She came complete with lots of foot attachments.....hemmers and rufflers......if we need anything more sophisticated I can always bring out the modern machine........but how much more delightful to sew on this!!!!!

Hello peeps, hope you had a great weekend. I got a couple of pretty presents over the weekend......I love presents..........they don't have to cost the earth,...its the thought the counts!!!! I get quite a lot of pressies x x x x x
The better half came home with this big jug, I have quite a few things with this crinoline lady on now, and although this jug is very stained on the inside it is displayed high up so that doesn't show and it will do to hold flowers in.....thank you hubby x x x
My close friend Emma came home from her holiday in Turkey with this beautiful little hair clip for me, I have it in my hair today x x x

As I am new to blogging I wonder if anyone out there could give me some help.....I am thinking of doing a give away and was wondering how they work????, A pretty tea-cup and a few other bits. Also I have noticed a few bloggers talking about a swap...what are these????
