One Up One to Go!

Got my living room tree up today!!!
The hubster got all the boxes from the attic and then did the most vital of all jobs warming the mulled wine!
I have an artificial tree that take an hour to put up!! Or an hour and a quarter if you loose the top...the hubster searched the attic twice and was getting a tad irate...when....I discovered it on the floor under the tree! Who on earth could have put it there??????
Here it is all up!! Had a little rest................
Before I started to put all these baubles on...I just cannot stop buying them!!!!
And two hours later....here it is in all its glory......just have to get a fuse bulb tomorrow, as only half the lights are on!
Will show you some of my favourite baubles in my next post when the light is better......just my dining room tree to go now...a much more traditional/ vintage/homemade tree.

I look forward to seeing every ones trees!

Every Christmas tree is beautiful!

I Need Your Help (my messy dresser!!)

Not long to go now peeps!!! I am busy spring cleaning my rooms ready to bring down my trees!
Here are a few little decorations I made for my dining room tree, very simple, scrabble blocks, glue and ribbon!! My dining room tree is more vintagey and home madey!
I had a lovely surprise this morning.....when I made my breakfast tray up!

I grabbed my new tea cup off of the dresser, along with the first tea pot I came too...walked into the kitchen, put them down on the side as I flicked the kettle on...and then let out a huge squeal!!!!!!!!!!
They matched.......perfectly!!!!! Even though they they are made by completely different makers!....my husband wasn't half as impressed as I was!!!

Anyways peeps...here's where your help comes in...I have a pine dresser where I keep some of my collection of china,Its all shoved on there rather haphazardly..... and needs a good organise!
I have added some cup hooks this week....I need many more as I have bags of cups to put on there still...... I think I will have a few empty ones left over by the time I have put cup hooks on both shelves.... (a great excuse to buy more!!! yesssss!)
I plan to paint her in the New Year but am stuck as to what colour to paint her.......
Cream? pink? duck egg blue?....I have a thing for matt black painted furniture at the moment too but think this may be a bit heavy for my dining room which is cream and pink...but then again I could decorate!!!!!

What do you all think????

Treasure finds.......

Hello everyone, sorry I have been away from my blog but I have been resting my hand and not really done much to blog about! Went out for the first time in what seems like ages and managed to pick up a few treasures....This is my favourite a beautiful pink tea-cup! Luckily I have been rearranging my dresser, and after buying some cup hooks I can add lots more cups to my dresser...I have a large carrier bags worth to go on there... I think that by the time I have cup hooked both shelves I will have a good excuse to buy more!!
Four dainty cake plates......
A larger cake plate.....
Two little cups which I intend to fill with wax and make candles with after Christmas

And this little Emma Bridgewater mug I found for when my grandsons visit...a bit more masculine than the Tinkerbell tea cup they drink from at the moment!!Although I do have to find another one!
Hope you have all been snuggling in this cold weather.....and don't forget my December Giveaway x x See you soon x
